The Pondicherry Industrial Promotion Development and Investment Corporation Limited (PIPDIC) was set up by the Government of Pondicherry in 1974 with the twin objective of promoting the Industrial Development of Pondicherry and providing financial assistance to entrepreneurs. PIPDIC provides various facilities such as Term loans, Equity participations/Underwriting of Capital issues, Hire Purchase and Lease Financing, IT & Electronic Parks/Growth Centre/Industrial Estates.
